"I just wanted to let you know that we just received the results catalogue from the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show which contains the Judges comments and detailed scoring on all of our entries.

The reason I’m letting you know is that the judges have commented on the outstanding quality of 100% Durum Semolina used in the competition.

Although there is a lot more to these competitions than the average person could comprehend it is equally as important to use ingredients of the highest quality combined with the knowledge of correct cooking techniques to bring out the best of these ingredients.

While we are a fairly small business, consistency is very important to us and on the topic of Durum Semolina your product is of the highest quality I have seen in the industry and having used other suppliers before, your product is so much cleaner, brighter and more fragrant than any Durum we have used.

Quality Durum Wheat Semolina

Yarra Valley Pasta owes much of our Triple Gold Winning success at this year’s Sydney Fine Food Show to the quality and consistency of durum wheat semolina that we source directly from our suppliers at Bellata Gold in Tamworth in northern New South Wales.

We have maintained a wonderful working relationship with Doug Cush and his family for over five years.  Like our Family business, we feel confident knowing that all aspects of the durum wheat growing process can be traced from the day the seeds are planted right through to when the grain is milled and then packaged up for us to be sent directly to our factory here in Melbourne."
